This year’s NCA All Star National Championship has reached a new milestone in 2025, setting a record for the largest cheerleading competition in history. A total of 1,712 teams from 460 programs are competing in Dallas this weekend, with registration filling in just 6.5 minutes.
With 178 Worlds-level teams participating and 240 national champions set to be crowned, the competition continues to be a key event in the All Star cheerleading season. It is estimated to generate $64 million in economic impact, according to the Dallas Sports Commission.
NCA Nationals to Relocate to Houston in 2026
After years of being held in Dallas, NCA All Star Nationals will move to Houston beginning in 2026. The relocation is expected to accommodate the event’s continued growth, providing expanded venue space and new opportunities for athletes, coaches, and spectators. While specific details on the transition have yet to be released, the move marks a significant change for one of the longest-running national championships in cheerleading.

One of the most anticipated events of the weekend, Battle in The Arena, takes place on Friday, February 28 at 6:00 PM.
