Class 6A: North Forsyth Defends Title
North Forsyth successfully defended its Class 6A crown, capturing the program’s second consecutive championship. The Raiders executed a flawless routine to finish ahead of Hillgrove, Mill Creek, and North Paulding, solidifying their reputation as one of the state’s elite programs.
Class 5A: McIntosh Extends Legacy
McIntosh returned to the top of Class 5A, claiming its ninth state title and first since 2022. The Chiefs, who have been a dominant force with titles spanning from 1994 to 2022, held off Houston County, Creekview, and Woodstock to once again showcase their championship pedigree.
COED: South Forsyth Back in the Spotlight
South Forsyth earned its 10th overall Coed title, finishing first for the first time since 2021. The War Eagles delivered a powerful performance to beat Walton, Denmark, and Roswell, continuing a legacy that includes titles in 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999, among others.
Class 4A: Cartersville Climbs Back to the Top
Cartersville claimed its fourth state championship and first since 2018 with a strong showing in Class 4A. The Hurricanes edged out Cambridge, Union Grove, and Harris County, adding another title to their resume, which includes wins in 1994, 2000, and 2014.
Class 3A: Cherokee Bluff’s Historic Victory
Cherokee Bluff made history in Class 3A, capturing the program’s first-ever state championship in its seventh year of competition. The Bears outperformed a competitive field that included past champions West Laurens, Jefferson, and Whitewater, cementing their place among Georgia’s best.
Class 2A: Pierce County Reclaims Glory
Pierce County returned to form, winning its eighth state title in Class 2A. The Bears, who dominated the division from 2012 to 2019, executed a clean routine to defeat KIPP, Morgan County, and Ringgold, re-establishing their championship presence.
Class A Private: Mount Paran Keeps the Streak Alive
Mount Paran extended its state-record streak to 12 consecutive titles in Class A Private. The Eagles outpaced Savannah Christian, Hebron Christian, and North Cobb Christian, continuing a dominance that has lasted since 2012.
Class A Division I: Bremen Ends Championship Drought
Bremen ended a 17-year title drought by capturing the Class A Division I championship. The Blue Devils’ last win came in 2006, and they returned to the top by beating Gordon Lee, Vidalia, and Toombs County in this year’s finals.
Class A Division II: Lake Oconee Academy Makes History
Lake Oconee Academy secured its first-ever state championship in Class A Division II, delivering a standout performance to beat Screven County, Metter, and Trion. The Titans made a statement with their win, while Trion fell short in its bid for a sixth state title.
