The NCA All-Star Nationals, known as the world’s largest regular-season cheerleading competition, will move from Dallas to Houston beginning in 2026. This highly anticipated event will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center and the Toyota Center, preserving the famous NCA atmosphere for cheer fans and athletes. The move ensures NCA Nationals maintains its traditional end-of-February dates through 2028 despite construction in Dallas.
Future NCA All Star Nationals Dates
- February 28 – March 2, 2025 – NCA All-Star Nationals in Dallas, Texas, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center
- February 27 – March 1, 2026 – NCA All-Star Nationals relocates to Houston, Texas
- February 26-28, 2027 – NCA All-Star Nationals 2027 in Houston
- February 25-27, 2028 – NCA All-Star Nationals 2028 in Houston
- February 2029 – NCA All-Star Nationals planned return to Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas
NCA All-Star Nationals has grown to become the largest cheer competition in the world, breaking records with 1,564 teams in 2024, up from 1,405 in 2023. Organizers shared their commitment to providing an unforgettable experience:
“We want to update everyone that NCA All-Star Nationals will be moving to the George R. Brown Convention Center and Toyota Center in Houston, Texas in 2026, 2027, and 2028.”
“This decision wasn’t made lightly. The upcoming revitalizations at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas will create a wonderful new space. Still, we wanted to ensure our event maintains its exceptional scale and experience for everyone involved. Houston is just a short drive from Dallas, and it offers many of the same great city perks you’ve come to love at our event.”
The relocation will allow cheer athletes, coaches, and fans to enjoy a new venue while retaining the familiar, high-energy NCA competition setting. NCA officials are confident that Houston will offer a great environment for cheerleading’s biggest weekend of the year.
