Varsity All Star has announced a significant date change for the NCA All Star National Championship. Traditionally held in February at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, the event is moving to January in 2026. The competition will now take place from January 9-11, 2026.
Temporary Schedule Adjustment
This shift to January is confirmed as a one-time change, with the NCA All Star Nationals returning to its usual February schedule in 2027. The upcoming 2025 competition season remains unaffected, with the NCA All Star Nationals set for February 28 – March 2, 2025 at the same venue.
Other Varsity All Star Event Changes
In addition to the NCA All Star Nationals, other Varsity All Star events will also see temporary date adjustments in 2026. The Encore Grand Nationals in Houston, Texas, typically held in December, will move to February 26-28, 2026. The American Legacy Nationals will now take place during the same weekend in Fort Worth, Texas.
New Event: Spirit Sports Houston 2025
Varsity All Star has also announced a new event for the 2024-2025 season. Spirit Sports Houston will debut in December 2025, coinciding with the traditional weekend for Encore Grand Nationals. This two-day event will run alongside Groove Nationals for all star dance teams.
